Providers that are already enrolled in Medicare to provide other services must separately enroll as an OTP in order to bill and receive Medicare reimbursement for covered OTP services. Additionally, providers must be enrolled with their jurisdictional Part B Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) prior to requesting a Railroad Medicare Provider Transaction Access Number (PTAN) to bill Railroad Medicare.
